The 2026 Cally Festival is all set for 5th July

The Cally Festival will be on Sunday 5th July from noon to 6pm. It’s the biggest street festival in Islington. Each year we close the road and put on an event that showcases the best of Cally: live music on 3 stages, childrens’ activities, dance, science and discovery, arts, crafts, sports and lots of great food.

Caledonian Ward’s Councillors are the ‘custodians’ of the Festival. Each year they make sure the funding and sponsorship is raised and they appoint the festival’s brilliant organising team.

Labour’s Cally Councillors have made it happen every year since 2010.

In addition to a street market with 50 different traders – mainly local – the Festival is a huge boost to all the shops, cafes, bars and businesses on the High Street.

The Festival attracts over 10,000 people. Almost three quarters are from our near neighbourhood. 88% of people attending each year rate the Festival as “good” or “excellent”. And 96% say it’s a benefit to the community!
